Passing of a Cloud

It was a hot Sunday afternoon. Skywalker and I packed some cold drinks, a raspberry tart, some raw almonds, and went for a walk in the River Valley. We settled under the shade of a spruce/pine/fir/coniferous tree (I don’t know my trees) and spent our time just staring into the sky or reading. At one point we noticed how little wisps of clouds seemed to be transforming into a bigger and bigger cloud. It was happening so fast I thought it’d be cool to capture the process on camera…mini “art” project. Instead, the cloud disintegrated and faded away.

Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.  ~ James 4:14 NIV
